For a Senior Software
Programmer att their Fortlee, NJ location.
Responsibilities will include:
-perform software development and maintenance activities on large
scale, 24x7 systems.
-analyze, design, develop, code, test, and implement system
enhancements to support the customer's operational environment.
- provide fully tested software modules for software level integration
in a timely manner.
- follow documented guidelines to perform software development
functions as outlined in approved software/system development
processes and procedures.
-conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment
designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design,
development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for
software.
-determine computer user needs;
- advise hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect
software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and
input/output requirements;
-design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and
operating systems.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline,
or equivalent experience/combined education,
with 2-3 years of professional experience
Required Skills: Pro*C, C , C++, Unix
(HPUX), SQL, shell scripting.
Desired:( not required, you may be trained if necesssary)
J2EE, Java, X/Motif, Oracle
